Thankfully, as her condition worsened and Hayden neared death, Finn was finally able to develop a cure and save both of their lives! Now that they were both healthy, Finn and Hayden finally made their relationship official, but he encountered problems keeping his job at the hospital when he continued to fail his drug tests.

Instead of succumbing to blackmail, Hayden told Finn the truth that she had killed a girl while driving drunk and her ex had gone to prison to protect her. Finn was willing to help his friend, but as the scheme became more and more complicated, he decided he wanted out. But they were in too deep and even pretending to be dating!

Although the two men share the same father, that seemed to be where the similarities begin and end. Finn wanted nothing to do with his younger sibling, although that changed over time. Even as Finn and Anna denied the true feelings they had developed for each other while facing death in the form of Cesar Faison, Alexis Davis tried to use the doc to take her mind off her own troubles.

But after a brief fling, Finn had to admit that his heart belonged to Anna and despite a slightly rough start, the pair finally confessed their feelings to each other and made it official.

Finn had made it clear he wasn't happy with his brother and definitely didn't like his father, Gregory Chase , because he felt like his dad had moved on from the death of his wife too quickly. Finn felt that was a betrayal to his mother and refused to forgive him. But later, Gregory showed up in Port Charles looking for a good doctor to cure him and Finn reluctantly agreed to help, though it was clear he still wanted nothing to do with the man.

Inside was a private message for Finn where Hayden asked him if they could meet to discuss "unfinished business," but he opted to ignore the note and focus on his new life with Anna, traveling to Cuba with her to help bring a fugitive Obrecht to justice.

After a couple of mix-ups with the ring, Finn finally proposed to Anna at the annual Nurses Ball and she happily accepted. However, their happiness was short-lived when Anna left the country on business and a lonely Finn was surprised by Hayden's return to Port Charles. Things got even more complicated when Hayden revealed that she'd lied about losing their child and introduced him to his daughter, Violet!

What no one knew was that John was alive, in a hospital bed, thought to be Hugh Hughes! With the truth finally out, John now faces a new road ahead filled with hard, emotional challenges. Though John and Natalie tried to make a go of their relationship, things didn't work out, and John started dating Marty Saybrooke. Just as John and Marty grew close, John was left to believe that Marty had died after blowing up in a van while John was chasing the people stalking Cole. Months later, not able to get Marty out of his mind, John put the pieces together and realized that Todd Manning, who had rescued Marty from Lee Ramsey's, where she'd been held hostage after a memory loss, had been holding her at his place.

John saved Marty, who had no memory of him, and helped her realize who Todd Manning really was - not the man who Marty had fallen in love with! It took a while, but John was able to get through to Marty, and rebuild their relationship - and even went back to work on the police force, as well as bought Rodi's.

John's next case was trying to prove that Jared Banks was behind the stalkings surrounding Jessica Brennan. Natalie didn't appreciate John implying such a thing, but John only wanted to get to the truth - in order to protect Natalie, who he admitted he'd always care about. After Jared died at the hands of Mitch, John and Natalie grew close again. This came soon after he and Marty lost their baby after Eli Clarke pushed her down the stairs.

During John and Natalie's reunion, they got their wires crossed and Natalie slept with Brody, thinking John didn't want her back. He set his sights on Sam, who happens to look exactly like his late wife, Livvie.

Prospect Park, the production company responsible for the online renewals of the two canceled ABC soaps stakes their claim in the characters names that had recently found a home in Port Charles. The characters left Port Charles about a month ago and were said to be coming back. However, it remained unclear as to whether the actors would return to General Hospital under the same character names or if they would legally have to return under new identities.

Perhaps this phone call between Starr and Michael was just buying time until her return. General Hospital Blog hopes that something can be worked out so that these three actors can return to the canvas and reside in Port Charles once again.

We miss them! Everyone has been wondering what will happen with these actors and their characters if and when they return to GH. Well good news is, they get to return. Bad news is, they may be forced to take on new roles. Starr, Todd, and John have become staples in their new Port Charles lives and it wil be difficult to work around this but they will do whatever needs to be done.
