Can you paint recessed light trim

Prices have come down and they use almost no electricity. Like Save. They are wonderful especially for where I live in the South where it is so hot. I persoannly did not want halogen because they run so hot. The lights I installed are dimmable and give a very pleasing K light, which is not yellow, but also not with the blue cast of really cool colored light. They were more expensive initially, but they pull very little electricity and will last years and years with no bulb replacement.
